This is a nice little state park. I spent one night in the campground and was very comfortable. The bathroom was quite clean and relatively modern, and the hiking trails provided a nice diversion for a few hours. It's quite close to Augusta, although cell phone coverage was somewhat limited. I would gladly stay here again.

Went to see this park to check out the campground for future visit. Beautiful Park. The campground is nice. Not overly large. The lake is beautiful. The cabins look very nice from the outside. Some look newer than others, from the outside. Looking forward to going back sometime and staying there.

Magnolia Springs State Park is hidden gem that I want say awful to keep the crowds of visitors away. But I can't it is AWESOME! The historical importance to what happen there is so important to know and learn from. The beauty of this little park is something to enjoy and savor. There is no swimming because of the alligators but you can paddle your kayak or canoe and fish in the lake. There are rental canoes and paddle boat available. The Park staff is great, everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to help make our stay a pleasant experience. So begrudgingly I highly recommend this great little State Park.

This park is isolated and quiet. An introverts dream vacation. People come here to be left alone and enjoy the peace. Staff is friendly and helpful. The campground is small with only 25 sites, but well spaced out with a bathhouse that looks new and is well kept. Be advised of the alligators. Seriously. The locals come to enjoy the splash pad. It's quite nice.

very nice campground. spacious and quite. bathhouse is excellent. rode our bikes on the trails and they had infilled wet or rough sections with sand. pushing thru sand on a bike ain't easy, try something else. while more $ than COE and Nat Forest sites. way cheaper than KOA. the cottages look gorgeous for larger groups.

This was our first trip to this park. They have the biggest campsites of any place we’ve stayed! There is probably 35-50’ between each site. There’s a nice splash pad as well as good fishing for the kids. Be looking out for the gators. …

Small but nice State Park for camping, fishing, trails, walking, birding. Sites mostly have bigger separation than other parks.
